3.3: Taxation Without Representation

Following the Seven Years’ War, the British taxed colonists so hard that they formed a new country that would argue about taxation rates for the next 250 and counting years. The colonists began to unite under the slogan “No Taxation Without Representation,” and fought back by teaching fish how to become refined, such as by drinking tea instead of water.
