1.3: Developments in South and Southeast Asia from c. 1200 to c. 1450

Next up on the Global Tapestry is South & Southeast Asia. Here, we zoom in on the spread of Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism around the region as they bring together cultures and create new states. Of note are the Delhi Sultanate and the Urdu language, the Khmer Empire with its temple Angkor Wat, and the trading city of Malacca.
