1.6: Developments in Europe from c. 1200 to c. 1450

Last up on the list is Europe. Living in the feudal dark ages, not much is going on in this region. Countries are united by the Hanseatic Trade League, and Venice is running a lucrative trade operation; Marco Polo is letting Europe know what the rest of the world is like, and the Crusades interject to provide a brief period of cultural exchange. Also, the Bubonic Plague wipes out a third of the population.
